Come on in! Restauration Elisabeth is situated in the heart of the famous spa and imperial town of Bad Ischl, at the start of the pedestrian zone. The building was once home to ‘Hotel Elisabeth’, built in 1844. Up until the start of the First World War, it was considered to be one of the most beautiful and modern hotels of the entire monarchy. Historical highlight: This is where Sisi, 15 at the time, got engaged to Austria’s young emperor Franz Joseph I. The historic building has since appeared on countless postcards. In February 2022, Erich Kühr and Anita ? began writing a new chapter in the history of this famous house. With great attention to detail and respect for its rich tradition, they have awakened the Elisabeth Café, lounge and ‘Jagdstube’ from their Sleeping Beauty-like slumber.

Curious? Then drop by! Experience the unique charm of the house while the Elisabeth team spoil you with their culinary delights.
